So our building in Dubai just switched to a new waste collection schedule and honestly it's thrown off our whole routine at home. We used to just dump everything whenever but now with specific pickup days the bin sits longer and the smell has become a real issue. My husband keeps saying we need a better bin but I'm not sure what actually works. I saw a range of waste bins on Crateco and got curious about the pedal ones with soft close lids. Do they actually keep the smell contained or is that just wishful thinking? Also wondering if the plastic ones crack easily in this heat because I've had that happen before with a cheap garbage bin I bought from a local shop years ago. If anyone has one of these pedal bins at home I'd love to know how it's holding up after a few months.
